The first James Bond movie is not without its charm, but it definitely pails in
comparison to the recent editions. Sean Connery definitely gives Bond some character and
the plot is all their. But without the explosions of the '90's bond, it's just not the

Phantom Menace

George Lucas gives us he 1st part of the Star Wars epic. While this
movie doesn't quite meet the hype, the movie is still a great start to a
great series. The planet of Naboo finds itself under attack by the Trade
Federation. Queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) and 2 Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn
(Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), travel to Galactic
Senate to try to stop this, picking up Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) along
the way. The Senate is in shamble and the group fails. Then they travel
back to Naboo to fight a battle against and immense droid army, while the
Jedi fight their own battle against the mysterious Sith. A truly exciting

The Siege
I was personally disappointed to see Denzel Washington and Bruce Willis lower
themselves to this movie. Denzel Washington plays a FBI agent who has been investigating a
string of terrorist bombings and Bruce Willis plays a gung-ho general who wants to impose
martial law on New York City. The movie has some conspiratol undertones about some
undercover bomb training in Iraq. This movie had a lot of potential, but does not live up

The second of the Brosnan's Bond's is the worst of the three. The plot is not quite as
elaborate as the others, and seems to be a shot at Ted Turner. A mega news conglomerate
tries to start a war between England and China. Luckily James Bond (Brosnan) and his
remote control car are there to save the day.

The World is Not Enough
This was my first James Bond Movie and I was quite pleased. Whoever thinks the stories
up is quite a genius. The plot is quite complex and is extremely involved. It involves a
family oil business that is being plagued by terrorist bombings. The father is murdered by
some exploding money. When the daughter takes over, her life is in danger, so James Bond
is assigned to guard her. The specials effects are good, lots of explosions, but nothing
really special. If you like farfetched action movies this is definitely a movie for you.

Blast From the Past
This cute comedy deals with the nuclear scare during the early 60's and
what happens when a family mistakenly locks themselves into a bomb shelter

(Alicia Silvertone, Batman and Robin) he learns that the new world
isn't all that bad and that he can live there. This is a good movie to

Jawbreakers
In this movie about a practical joke gone bad, you see a bad attempt to
make a Clueless type movie. This is possible one of the stupidest movies I
have seen. There is no point to it what so ever. The four most popular
girls in school are friends. Three of them kidnap the fourth as a birthday
joke, and she dies by suffocating on a jawbreaker. If you're bored it
won't kill you, but don't waster your time if you have better things to
do.

Orgazmo is a funny movie about the most popular porn movie of all time
and how it is a cross over sensation. A devoted Mormon ends up being the
star of this porn flick (as long as they use a stunt c**k.) With the help of
chodo boy and their orgazmo ray, the 2 crime fighters try to clean up the
town. This is a pretty cool movie, much better than I thought it would be.

Jack Lemmon, Tony Danza, George C. Scott, and a bunch of other
famous actors star in this re0make of a 1950's movie about a murder trial
juror. It reminded me in many ways of a John Grisham Book. Very Good, and
a lot of good acting. Jack Lemmon tries to convince the juror that more
time is needed to decided the fate of the defendant when everyone else
wants to rush through the decision.
American Beauty

Kevin Spacey (Academy Award winner for Best Actor in a leading role) and Annette Bening star as Lester and
Carolyn Burnham in this story about mid-life crisis 90's style. Spacey is
displeased with his life and decides to change his attitude and stand up
for himself. Bening goes with the flow while cheating on her husband.
Their daughter, Jane (Thora Birch) goes along for the ride while falling
in love with the freaky next-door neighbor (Wes Bentley).

unravel the whole conspiracy. This is one of the best stories that I have seen in a movie
in a long time, the ending will just blow your mind!

Jack Frost
Michael Keaton (the real Batman) stars as Jack Frost in this fantastic Family Movie.
Frost is the lead singer of the Jack Frost Band and finally gets a break. On his was to
the audition, he decides that it is more important to spend Christmas with his family and
heads for the cabin, but crashes and dies on the way. He then returns, one year later, as
a snowman to help out his son. This is a great family movie and one that will definitely

Toy Story 2
Pixar hits the mark again. Toy Story 2 was a hilarious movie that not
only kids but also adults will like. The beginning of the movie finds Woody (Tom Hanks)
a slight rip causing him to miss Cowboy Camp. He is then apprehended by a
mischievous toy collector (Wayne Knight, aka Newman) who is looking to complete the entire
cast of Woody's show, "Woody's Roundup." Buzz (Tim Allen) and the gang set off
to rescue Woody from the clutches of this maniac. The animation is amazing and the story
line really keeps things moving. The only think I would have liked to see would have been
